I was raised on the radio in the Maryland suburbs of DC from the 70’s through the 80s. Baltimore and DC had a killer music scene back then. Three of the big acts in the DC/Baltimore corrider back then were Face Dancer, Crack The Sky, and The Ravyns. When Fast Times At Ridgemont High came out, The Ravyns became the pride of our music scene. Forty years later, I still love this song! All the best to those boys! 🤙

Glad I finally found this again. Always liked the lyrics and the sound. I had the soundtrack on cassette but it was lost when I wrecked at 100+ in a 2 a.m. street race on a rural stretch of highway. I lost a lot of stuff that night and damn near lost my life. The right front tire went on my '72 Road Runner. I beat the Chevelle but that was of little consequence considering the aftermath. I never raced again. I sold the 440 c.i. Plymouth engine and what few parts were salvageable. I guess you're only young once but it helps if you survive it.
