I love TEOM. The resonance in her belts, falsettos, tone, whistles, vocal breaks, raspy moments, even the production in this album is unreal.

I dont think people realize just HOW talented she is just from like little things that you dont notice but once you try are impossible such as at 2:20 where she goes "be so cruel". The switch from head voice on "be" to mixing an A on "so" in less then a second is INSANE!!!

That’s because multiple takes were stitched together lol. I deeply admire Mariah and this masterpiece of an album but as the lambily we gotta be real and acknowledge when there are pitched up belts and vocals that were multiple takes edited together

@uchihaitachi59055 ай бұрын
@@Eli-eg6ie It's hard to say for sure without using studio equipment to analyse the production and enhancements. But even prime Mariah would've had difficulty with an A5 in full voice, so it's more or less impossible she would have been able to hit it in 2005. If I had to guess I'd say she probably hit an E5 or an F5 in the studio and had it pitched up and cleaned for the album.
@onedollarbleach6891Ай бұрын
@@uchihaitachi5905Definitely not that’s way too low, taking an E or F up that high she would sound like a literal chipmunk lol. Like the leaked versions of FLIAB and Subtle invitation I think she did a semitone down originally. I think it might’ve been a G or G#
