I didnt stop using mouse accel though, I now use custom curve pro from mouseacceleration.com. There is a free version as well but both are better than Raw Accel due to allowing you to directly manipulate the curve instead of having to do math. You can get a discount with code LOBO but I believe free version can load presets made in pro version. I have uploaded my current settings with 800 and 1600 DPI options to the same folder linked above"

I always have to put in my dpi new everytime I open the software. Its 1200 on default and I put in 1600 everytime but it changes back to 1200

The whole mid point thing confused me. My dpi is at 1,600 and you said to divide it by 0.5.. or am I doing that wrong?

I gave a shot to your settings but just couldn’t nail something that felt right, the motivity curve starts too slow and accelerates to fast. I’ve been using linear with a good offset and feels really good, seen other people using natural gain as well, i guess you just have to try multiple curves until you nail the one.

its good to experiment a bit ofc, but I really recommend you stick to one curve and only slightly tweak it after a while. You can change ingame sens all you want, but you really do need time to adjust to a curve and most of the time they won't feel great at first. Personally I think linear is useless and offsets are really bad (harder to learn how to control microcorrections with close range tracking) but try stuff

im an rawaccel newb so your specific setup is for high sens players? So you have a high base sens and the curse slows it down in tracking scenarios? or am I mis understanding that. Im trying to get use out of rawaccel but I play on a already mid/high sens so a normal curve to make me go faster doesnt seem to benfit. Ive used your setup for a little but feel like I need to increase my sens even more lol

strange, the fields for Natural are meant to be the following: decay rate/input offset/limit, how you getting them other things to pop up, have seen other videos show natural as well and none of them are like yours

When I would create a shortcut for writer.exe in the shell startup it wouldn't work for me, but creating a shortcut for rawacell.exe did work. Just wanted to put this out there incase anyone else had this issue.

just by curiousity, why do you recommend having double DPI in your RawAccel settings than just the same one as your mouse?

I don't think I actually recommended it, just showed how to do it. But higher DPI is proven to have lower latency and eliminates pixel skipping (both issues only exist for slow tracking movements) and provides more data points for raw accel, resulting in a smoother experience

Hey, found your video because I'm interested in Raw Accel but I do have a question. I've always been a low sense player (400 DPI and 2.5 in game) and I want to see how you would go about the settings. Would yours work well for my current sense or would I have to lower/rise any other settings? Any help and Info would be appreciated, thanks man and keep up the good vids

wouldnt it be easier to start with a less than 1 sens multiplier and using linear or classic to get up to 1.0 when you do your normal flicks, using an input offset of like 3-8. feels like itd be more reliable

I use 6/11 for 800 dpi. I believe 4/11 on 1600 dpi would be equivalent. You can also use the sens multiplier in raw accel to change cursor speed on higher dpi even if you don't want to use accel

its in the same folder as the executable. you dont need to uninstall though. just click the reset button to disable mouse accel. there's no real impact in having the driver run
