Women are not allowed to have control over their bodies during the labor/birthing process. That's not right! Where are all the feminists? Why arent they fighting against this abuse?

Be your own advocate and don't let them control your experience because they can recommend but in the end you do what's best for you especially if you want a natural birth experience with minimal medical intervention. That's why more women are using birthing centers and midwives instead of hospitals and doctors.

@@brendabenitez7359 if you are not hooked up to anything or a fall risk you can move around but once they put in an IV (sometimes)or anything into your body you have to stay in the bed. You can request that you be allowed to move around and not be hooked up to anything.

Though late, congratulations to all of you!! This was so beautiful, I couldn't help but tear up with joy!! I loved that there were no invasive tubes, needles, procedures, etc... When my daughter was born MANY, MANY moons ago, the first thing they did when you got to the hospital, was to poke, prod, stick and and get short tempered with you, until you were more scared of what THEY were doing, than the harder stages of labor and delivery. This is the most beautiful natural birth in a hospital. What city are you in? What hospital? I’m 34 weeks. I want my environment to be this peaceful and accommodating. My first child was natural birth unmediated in a hospital but I wasn’t treated nicely and I was feel very stressed.
