Wow, windsurfing looks so archaic compared to kite surfing, were guys are being launch 100 ft and more.....

Slow down, although windsurfing is declining, most of these guys are over 40. Their average day is a 2 hour window on really onshore winds and for jumps they get a foot high chop for about 2-4 times a month. The kitesurfers here launch about 10-20 feet. Kitesurfing is spectacular on the outside but they like windsurfing because its more technical and more physically demanding and makes for a better workout and more mental stimulation.

@@ThanosSofroniou agree, I was windsurfing 40 yrs. ago.....Part of the problem is the camera angle. If the camera was elevated you could get a perspective of the ground they are covering and the speed they're going.....
