Meltzer unfortunately has a point about the celebrities. It was like 10 minutes of the show was pointing them out. RAW in general right now is so much fluff and hype its like a hours worth of content puffed up to nearly three hours.

whoever the influencer was they bought out was insanely over with the kids in the crowd. It may not be for Dave but the show is not narrow casted for Dave Meltzer (that's AEW). He may not like it but what they are doing is working. A show made for Dave's tastes does not.

I don't mind celebrities, but in regards to the interactivity, what does any of that mean to the home audience? The constant pandering to the live audience and these drawn out "Yeet" entrances with rappers doesn't translate to the viewers, and it makes RAW look like a glorified house show. Furthermore, the WWE audience has seen tons of celebs in the audience over the years, and a lot of them have had belts and WWE swag, but no one has bought an Orton shirt just because "Johhny Shitdontstank" was sporting one. Get real, guys.

@@WRESTLINGSOUP2010 If you're talking sports, cosmetics, etc., I'd agree with you, but wrestling fans are different. They have proven time & again that they'll spend thousands upon thousands of dollars for tickets & their favorites' merch with no celeb involvement or interaction at all. After all, did anyone new actually watch Nitro because a celeb became world champ? For that matter, how many people have actually said that they bought WM 14 only for Mike Tyson? As far as interactivity goes, if that worked with the home audience, then explain why the Netflix numbers are swirling downward every week thus far. This junk is not hooking the viewers on Netflix no more than it did on USA. They are now just combining 2 different viewerships (domestic and global) to camouflage this fact.
