i miss that pit in your stomach you get when you make it over a peak and then you see a swell the size of a house as a new set starts coming in and everyone just knows to paddle like hell to get position lol

Or how bout when you go for a wave, dont quite make it, and then turn around and see that monster set coming in.. but now you’re exhausted and way too far inside haha. DOOM. 😅

Havent gone in at the wedge since jume or july of 1994. Mews reporter type of day and i got completely aniayalated. I was 18 at the time.i had a few chicks with me and a couple friends. I was the only one that went in. I pretty mucb paddled to cylinders just to get out.

@wave._.hunter Жыл бұрын
No, it just breaks so close to shore at wedge that most of the time you wash up on the sand with your board near you so most people would rather chase down their board than deal with a leash
Much of the thrill without having to pull on a wet wet suit, thx!

Cool video. Used to ride there in the 90's, and it was crowded when it got good, but I feel like people had better edicate. Hard to take off when you have 10 speed bumps to go over as everyone paddles towards the shoulder.
