Kicks still off form for muaythai.

Seems to be what the style is like in a lot of UK gyms. What do you think is off about the form? I'd like to hear what you think :)

@@amberroberts88 The student has good punch and elbow form, but he doesn't roll his hip when he kicks and he doesn't swing his arm back past the kicking leg. The arm should be relax, not bent. May be because the pad holder holds the pad at less than 45 degree angle. The pad should be held >45 degree for round house kick, preferably >65 degree angle.

@sportmuaythaiv1045 in a real fight in the ring all that shit goes out the window. He's kicking perfectly fine. Ain't no one using 45 degrees in a fight

they be proper to my eyes but these guys mix in the dutch style with the thai style. and they do it quite well
@sportmuaythaiv1045 Жыл бұрын
@@SooBlue931 Have it your way. Thai fighters train so that rolling the hip to strike with the shin is a habit and is done automatically. Incidentally, I refer to 45 degree angle of the pad holding, not he kick execution.
