⚡ raw thunderstorm power over the Swiss Alps

Another very similar storm hit us here in Interlaken last night, 13 August 2024 - It was very amazing 😳

@@GJ_Brownon Monday I almost couldn't land in Zurich as the airport shut down while on route there due to the powerful thunderstorm. Last night I was watching the storm too, I recorded some of it but it wasn't as impressive, and I missed the perfect shot when a lightning landed 800m in front of me :(

Powerful. But why is there no thunder in this video?

There are a few, but those lightning are cloud to cloud for the most part so you barely ever hear the thunder
