I'm not quite sure if Leanne is just really nice, but Dan, you're definitely a super nice guy. However, when it comes to Leanne being herself, it's important to treat her with extra kindness. She was unwell, and mistakes can happen. My significant other would never allow me to speak to her in a less considerate manner. Seeing that train reminded me of a time I took a train from the Algarve to Lisboa about 25 years ago. Everything about the Station and the surrounding area was like a time warp from the 1950’s When the train was about to arrive, the station master got on his old bicycle and went up the rails to throw the switch by hand! 😂

My partner and I just watched your latest video (the one where Leanne lost her voice). Thanks for keeping us entertained with your adventures! If I may give you one piece of advice though (and I really don't mean to overstep, I just want to share my two cents of wisdom after spending 25 years with my partner), I don't think you should share your "bickering" (for lack of a better word) with your fans. I understand that all couples argue from time to time (it is inevitable) but I fear that you might regret having included it in a video you ultimately share with the rest of the world. Forgetting to tighten the lid on the water jug is a silly mistake, but that's all it is, and Leanne didn't do it voluntarily. In the first few years of our relationship, my partner and I used to fight over trivial stuff like that. If you let it get to you, it can become overwhelming and poison your relationship. My advice: forgive. Forgive the small things. They are not worth the headache. After 25 years together, my partner and I don't argue much anymore. I know his quirks and he knows mine. He always leaves all the drawers open, I just close them after him and move on. I'm clumsy and accidentally breaks stuff sometimes, he knows it and forgives too. Life as a couple is hard enough as it is, don't waste time on being mad at each other over small, inconsequential stuff. The truth is, if you were back home and you got mad at each other for some reason, you would always have your friends and family to talk to and vent your frustration with. In your current situation, you have nobody else but each other. Remember that. Life as a couple is also extremely rewarding because you get to share the best moments of your life with your significant other, your partner, your spouse, your best friend (because that's what my partner and I are to each other). Also, I felt so bad that you didn't get to visit this magnificent palace on top of the hill (one of my friends was there just a few months ago as a matter of fact, and it is worth a visit!) after climbing all the way up! You guys have come all the way from South Africa to travel through Europe!! I know you live on a tight budget (and 20 EUR is expensive for an admission ticket, I agree) but I don't want you to miss out either: that is why my partner and I are sending you a SuperThanks, which will hopefully cover your next castle/palace tickets for 2. Not sure what the raw and uncut part of this video is which you haven’t showed before but I couldn’t see anything. Do you speak Portuguese? You said your folks are from Portugal so wondered if you spoke the language. I can speak Brazilian Portuguese though I am rusty these days and it can come in handy in quite a few countries in Africa like Angola and Mozambique and of course Brazil. It’s a slightly complex language compared to Spanish but knowing it is useful in some countries. The surfing town is pronounced “ Na” “ Za” “ Rey” ( the a’s are pronounced short and the “re” is “ Rey” or “ Ray”). It’s one of the big wave meccas for surfers and you can see huge waves in January and February and rarely a hundred foot wave.
