This is quite a video. Haiti could be a really nice place if they could get a government to restore it to what it was. I really hope that happens one day. I'm so glad you found Rudy. He could make a channel, and have so much content, especially to bring more awareness to Haiti. I started learning Haitian Creole, and he could even teach that. So many things! African Tigress, a big thumbs up to you!

Thank you for sharing, and please extend my gratitude to Roody for his kind hospitality and for welcoming us into his home and community. I truly hope that things start improving for him and that he finds the elevation he deserves. It was wonderful of you to suggest content creation as a way for him to better his situation, and it’s great that his daughter, studying to be a chef, could also explore this path. Roody would make an excellent tour guide as well, given his fluency in English, French, and Creole, and his deep knowledge of the area. Living in such adversity, education often becomes a secondary concern. Roody needs a stable environment where he can focus on long-term goals without constant stress. The community he’s part of has tremendous potential. Perhaps instead of waiting for government intervention, the community could unite to clean up the area. Much of the issue seems to stem from local littering and fly-tipping. Sometimes, if we want to see change, we have to take the initiative ourselves. The stagnant, infested water is a serious health hazard and likely a breeding ground for mosquitoes-no one should have to live in such conditions. Someone could propose a community cleaning business idea to the government, like contracting a private company to clean up the area, could be a viable solution. Get the water in the Canale moving again and better drainage systems for waste.

If you watched previous episodes, I mentioned I bought him a phone. I never made a video about it. I just don’t like documenting when I help people. I also sent him and his daughter some money when I left last time. Right now as I left Haiti I gave another content creator a gopro with two sets of enduro batteries. There is no guide I have never paid and I always pay waaay higher. I don’t even consider it payment rather appreciation . Including the guys who took me hiking. He needs more help than I can afford that’s why I’m sharing his story and his details so people can help him directly. He just called me few minutes ago and told me some people have started supporting him. If you are in a position to please support him. His details are in the pinned comment.

That is why St. Ambrose clarifies in the antithesis of the book of St. Augustine: "Two loves founded two cities. The earthly city, for the love of itself, taken to the contempt of God; the heavenly city, for the love of God, led to the contempt of himself... We divide the human race into two categories, one composed of those who live according to man, another formed by those who live according to God". That is, the story develops in the conflict between two civilizations made up of humans. While one cares about earthly loves and herself, the other seeks, in every way, to elevate the city of men to the divine model. Basically the work leads us to understand and contemplate the purposes that have guided our lives: either they are earthly, based on superfluous and passing things, yielding to sin, or they are divne, based on virtues and eternal things, in struggle against the si/n.

For y’all you’re be thinking she’s doing a good job, really !!! I want y’all to be just a little wise to understand she’s doing this for her benefit gain, she’s a tourist after all. Do you think a tourist will impress by these images , well think again. She’s Taking advantage of the vulnerability of the men kindness, how much does she paid him for his time , probably $100.USD or less may be none she kept saying thanks to the men at the end of the video sounds like free service to me, and she’ll make a fortune out of this .
