Depression is a beast. If you have it you understand what Naomi felt. You understand the deep pain just getting out of bed feels like. She got out there with that depression and entertained. She then couldn't leave her home after each appearance or tour. So just leave these two ladies alone. They are in deep sorrow and they deserve the privacy during a very difficult time. Thank you to The Judds. Your music is loved by so many. The wonderful memories you both shared recording those wonderful songs. May those memories comfort and keep you in the upcoming days. Let us not forget the actress Ashley is I've loved her movies as well. I don't want to leave her out. She's equally successful. Yes, but still cut off before their speeches. :/ The rest will be out at some point soon, I’m sure. All in one viewing. Not broken up in bits/pieces. I don’t watch ‘love me’ accolades, so I didn’t see it live. And my understanding is, the performance they gave was taped prior to the awards & shown on a large screen. Naomi could barely get through it. IDK how she was expected to get through a freaking ‘farewell tour!’ That very well could have been her breaking straw. We’ll never know. I’m glad she’s at perfect peace w/our Savior. All pain gone now. Prayers for her shattered family.🙏

She may have wanted to go along w/it, knowing it was just 10 shows & a ‘farewell’. For her daughter, too. I saw her ‘farewell’ to Wynonna right here in this video. Not her fans. Her daughter she loved so very much. No way was she going to do a tour, however small. She barely got through this pre-taped, no audience, song! I’m not void on emotional & mental illness. Both parents suffered, as do sibs & I too, have fought depression. People who don’t have first hand experience, have no clue. I’m glad, like my mom, she’s out of her emotional turmoil of too many years. And w/her loving Savior. All suffering ceased. And *replaced w/Joy, Peace & Love **_beyond our wildest_** dreams.* ✝

@@lynnmusiccowgirlely122 No way would it. I do hope that Wynonna finds the strength (she can in Christ) to keep the tour as a tribute to her mom. And change it as a Worship/Praise Tribute to God.🙌 I’ll never forget the only show I saw them do years ago, after their 2 ovations, Naomi quieted the audience & spoke briefly about how blessed she was & they were to do this. And wanted to honor God who allowed it all. She looked at Wy & w/a little whisper, she nodded back. They belted out ‘How Great Thou Art’ in A-Capella to a pindrop silent audience, who sat motionless by the end, before wildly Standing in Ovation for several minutes, even as they waved & threw kisses as they left. Not returning. I don’t think it was planned. That’s actually the only song I remember from that show. And always will. If Wynonna can, I believe it would be so powerful to do a Praise/Worship for the 10 shows. No doubt it would be incredibly uplifting for not only her, but everyone who sees it. As Worship _always_ uplifts. Some proceeds could go to fighting depression. Honor God, Christ our Savior, who her mom is with now & forever. Pay Tribute to her mom, who loved the Lord & probably would have loved this idea, too. A great way to complete their ‘farewell’.🙌 I Hope & pray someone suggests it & she goes for it.🙏 The world’s going to Hell in a hand basket quickly now. We need more people giving hope, who have a huge platform. Before all Hell breaks loose here. B/C it’s coming... *Jesus is everyone’s Only Hope.* ♥✝🙌🕊 Blessings 🕊

Naomi's passing has really saddened me, more so than I would have expected. I saw her as a strong woman who overcame adversity and worked hard to provide for her daughters. She appeared to be quite opinionated, as well. I feel for Wynonna and Ashley. So close to one another, a fine mix of love and drama. But always finding their way back to each other, where they belonged. My mom passed away over two decades ago, and I feel her spirit in all I do, especially when interacting with my children. The pain I felt when she died...it shook me to my core. Felt scared, lost and alone. Mama's are such protectors. To have the gone is such an awful feeling. I guess my sympathies for Naomi's girls are strong, having been there. My prayers go out to them, and may their blessed mother rest in eternal peace...

Maybe she’ll do a small worship tour. She could replace the ‘farewell tour’ that was planned in the Fall, w/a moving, _worship_ tour to our Savior, Jesus. I saw them years ago b/c I worked at the place they performed. They did ‘How Great Thou Art’ A-Capella, as their last song. Didn’t seem planned. Naomi just being thankful to the Lord for so much in her life & wanted to praise Him publicly, on stage. If Wy is able to pull it off, I think it would be _powerful._ Just keep the schedule that’s already out there w/tickets selling. A great tribute to both Jesus & her mom, who is now in great glory, resting in His Loving arms.✝🙌♥ Maybe you could tell her this suggestion, if y really are a friend. Not now, but when you hear her speak of the tour & ticket refunds, or what to do... I know it would lift her up, too. *Worship to our Savior always lifts us up!* ✝🙌❤ And some of the proceeds could go to fighting depression, in her moms name. Blessings🕊

I've never been a big country music fan, but I much prefer classic country over modern. I got choked up when I first saw the news of Naomi's death. God bless Wynonna and Ashley as they get thru these next few days and weeks. Your mother had the best seat in that hall. Rest in Peace, Naomi Judd.

This death is so hard to understand. We loved Naomi. My sincere condolences to Wynonna and Ashley and your stepfather Larry. The Judds certainly belong in The Country Hall of Fame.

It’s not hard, for those who have suffered deep, life long depression. She looked very frail & not up to being on stage at all, at the CMAs a couple weeks ago. I couldn’t believe she was doing it in that fragile state! And worse, that a small, ‘farewell tour’ was being planned for the Fall. That poor lady could hardly get through a taped performance w/no live audience! Whoever’s idea that tour was, has to be living in LaLaLand. I’m glad she’s out of her nightmare here, & resting in _Joy & Perfect Peace,_ in the arms of her Savior, Jesus.✝♥

The world is praying for you Wynonna and Ashley along with your entire family while you navigate these difficult times. Your mama is proud of both of you,and she is with you on that stage tonight in Nashville Tennessee. It's Naomi's way of showing both of you how proud she was of you. Your mother is a country legend and will be missed by all of us.

Ashley is still recovering from an accident that almost cost her one of her legs. I am glad that she is well enough to accept this honor for her Mom with Wynonna. Lots of love in the venue and I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye anywhere. Ricky Skaggs was a blessing with his words of comfort from scripture.

From one KY girl to you, God Bless and keep you both healthy, happy, and safe. May the KY sky lighten your heart, and know that your momma is looking down with pride and blessing you from on high. Steel yourselves, and get back to living as fast as you can, cause you know thats what she'd have wanted. She knows how much y'all loved family with every fiber of your being. So be happy in the fact she knows all of it now. God Bless. Much love.

How comforting his words were. Jesus speaking through him.. To all of you who have lost loved ones, this is not the end. You will see them again, that's the promise given us if we give our hearts to Jesus. The hard part is there not being with us while we're alive & on this earth. We miss them so much. My husband died three years ago and I still miss him as if it were yesterday and my heart aches for him, he was my life. God bless & comfort the Judds and the same to all of you who are grieving loved ones. 🙏🌟

This breaks my heart. You never know the battles people are fighting on the inside. The entertainment industry is such a hard business. They love you when you are on top, and young and beautiful. But they pick you to pieces when you get older, maybe gain weight, and maybe have lost a bit of that "sparkle" that you had before. It takes courage to get back on stage after years away. I hope this will remind people to BE KIND you don't know how people are feeling on the inside... Just be kind, words hurt too...

Beautiful, heartfelt induction Ricky! I can’t imagine a better pick to do so. May Wynonna, Ashley & Larry take comfort in knowing their precious mom & wife is now at perfect peace & joy w/our Savior, Jesus ✝🙌 And may the Great Comforter, Himself, bring them His Peace, which passes all our understanding here.🕊 They will be w/her again, forever in God’s great heaven. That awaits us all, who belong to Jesus. I hope Wynonna keeps the Fall tour dates as a tribute to her mom & Jesus...and makes it a _’Worship/Praise_ Tour’. 🙌 I think it would be incredibly uplifting for everyone, since Worship never fails to do so! If she can pull it off, I believe it would help many. Including herself. And just as the planned tour would have, be a sellout, too. What an opportunity to serve God & help others. Some proceeds could go to fighting depression. 🙏
