I was seriously considering buying the Kuvings blender until I emailed them. Kuvings says this blender shouldn't be used for more than 3 minutes. Also, it's NOT meant for anything hot. The Vitamix can run until you want soup! That feature is not available with this Kuvings blender which is WAY more money. Two grand and can't take heat? Lost me on that one.

Vitamix is an example of the term "dont change if it works." It is used widely in many places, and changing design or layout of button can mess up with many restaurant workers.

You should try the Blendtec Pro 800-this has a sound dome like the VMand the Kuvings. I have a VM Quiet one and use the programs #5 and #6 this will give you higher speed and longer mix time. Keep in mind the VM is half the cost of the Kuvings. I have never seen a vacuum blender in the smoothie places and restaurants I go to. They use VM or Blendtec.

Kuvings cb1000 vacuum or Tribest Elite GSE-5000 for extracting nutrients/enzymes from fruit or vegetables.

Using the CB1000 to vacuum juice will get more nutrition and yield out of the produce. It will be much more work, and you can't vacuum juice everything.

The only thing stopping me from buying the Kuvings is the fact that the vacuum seal breaks so often on the kuvings when you blend something that makes the container rattle. This needs to be fixed. Until than Ill be using my vitamix.

I see with Whole Foods the vacuuming feature is amazing. When you do banana, adaptogen powders, milk or coffee, ice or frozen liquids.. how does the vacuum feature hold up in terms of nutrients and oxidation? I love it! It’s strong enough for most things including smoothie bowls with minimal liquid. I still kept my Vitamix though for vegan cheeses and stuff where you only add tiny amounts of liquid as the Kuvings doesn’t have a tamper

There are pros and cons of each. It depends on your specific needs/goals. I can say that vacuum juicing is better than traditional juicers. I believe a vacuum blender with alexas nut milk bag would be the best solution overall, as it will give you the greatest flexibility to make smoothies or juices for you to get the most nutrients. ​@@natrlchallenge I have a slow juicer (Omega horizontal) and a vacuum blender (Kuvings SV-500E). I have no problem drinking juices made with the Omega, but I absolutely cannot drink smoothies made with the blender, even with this sous vide model. I'm full of gas. You can't make apple juice with Omega (too much foam) but you can still add a little apple to your mix with vegetables. You cannot use pears in the Omega because they block the very fine holes in the inner strainer.

Dynapro with hand pump pulls some of the highest vacuum. Can't beat a good manual pump that pulls more than small electric pump in my tests.

Depends on the model. In general, blendtec uses dull blades, which do not grind up produce as small and have symmetrical bottoms that don't cause as much agitation in the carafe.
