What is your take on the HOH R2G when it comes to catchers mitts. Got a big for his age 12 year old that needs a new mitt and I’m going to order a custom HOH for him. I’m struggling deciding what break in level he needs. His teammates don’t throw extremely hard and I don’t have access to a pitching machine. I don’t want the break in to be terribly long but I don’t want to sacrifice durability either. Help me out!

Im not a fan of R2G. It is a shortcut in the short term, but the material quality, and what is taken out, is not worth the quick break in imo.
