i didn't knew this tool needs service, a friend has one and it's been working for 2-3 years now and gone trough probably 15000 nails so far without a hickup, the only problem are the rechargable batteries that fail after a while, but i just replaced them with regular NI-MH batteries and it goes trough 1000 nails on a charge no problem . the only thing this needs is a power limiter as quite often it drives the nail too far into the material i can go as far as to say this one almost never jams while a HILTI one jams way to often for the price difference.

Where can you find the replacement batteries? I had to contact rawlplug and get them to send me a couple, and they were not cheap!

@@ricomiko2405 Hi, thank you for your question. The batteries can be purchased under the code R-BAT-072501. We do not recommend any substitutes which will simply not fit properly and above all you risk voiding the warranty.
