A Spotify playlist study has found that the Big Three labels (UMG, Warner, Sony) benefit most from curated playlists. In many cases, they practically control them. Consultancy firm Music Tomorrow published the study, dissecting how playlists impact emerging artists. The study finds that over the last four years, major labels accounted for nearly 70% of the music featured in the ‘New Music Friday’ playlist on Spotify. Of that number, 30% was UMG content, while 19% was for Warner and 19% for Sony. The major labels’ share of new music on Spotify playlists like ‘Rap Caviar‘ and ‘Get Turnt’ were even higher in the same period. 86% of new music added to those playlists are from artists represented by major labels. ‘Today’s Top Hits’ and ‘Pop Rising’ playlists saw 87% of their content come from major labels.

About the 3rd track I agree that it's not that good but I believe that it has a purpose to be there if you go back to the 2nd Track 2:34 and you listen carefully you can hear his friend saying "hahya li ghadi tjib lik temam" the transition kind of there but in a diffrent way, also if you pay attention to the subject of the Ep it's more like storytelling of a bad moroccan guy coming from "karyan" or smth similar that's then if you gather all those point so it started from nth to do in life things are borring then we try to Robb a store after we got back and stuff as all moroccans u sitting in you're neighborhood and a beautiful lady pass by, you would flirt with her.
