The problem with this is lets say by some miracle everything goes right. You take all the tools shown in this video, and with patience you create pretty much exactly what you wanted it and it gets published to the app store. Lets say it ACTUALLY starts getting traction because it is genuinely a good idea that thousands of people find great use for. The problem lies here... Any bigger company will see your idea getting traction and before anyone else knows about your app the rip your idea completely and make a cleaner version of your app and instantly market it to everyone. So essentially your entire idea was good for a while and thats it. Youre just making an idea for someone bigger and better to get a hold of without your permission.

Hello Nick, I'm a developer and I'm not surprised with the type of concerns you're having right now. In case like this, the best things is to let your developer sign a NDA, this will totally solve the issues of stealing ideas. Thanks. If you can't build it yourself I would suggest that you find a technical co-founder. Someone who can help build it. With regards to protecting the idea, it is hard, build faster and build a better product. Focus less on protecting it more and more building a great product. Most products are not about the idea, but about executing on hundreds of ideas in the right order.

Thanks, good question. If we look at costs, yes there are costs when it comes to running the app. I'm thinking about server costs here. The costs will follow the number of users that use the app so in the beginning it doesn't cost much. Apart from that not many costs linked to the app directly.
