I recently went through and made corrections to any mistakes in this transcription. If you are interested in purchasing the score with updated chord symbols and corrected notes please check the link in the description! Thanks

Great job! Many thanx! Just tell you that, payin attention to the recording and the notes, the sixth bar of each chorus is a diminished chord (G#dim, classic step between iii and ii). Also, if you want to check it, there are some other things in the changes that appear in the video that don't match the recording perfectly.

Measure 50 is C, C#, D, E, and measure 92 the F is #. Thanks for a great transcription, however!

Often the chord symbols here do not correspond with actual bass notes played, as if they were lifted from some fake book and not from actual playing. For instance, on the second bar of the melody (bar 18) Ray is playing F A D A. How on earth do you get Gm7 to C7 ? .Just wondering.......

vova47 yeah I realise that, did this transcription ages ago before I learnt the tune properly I think, so just put real book changes in. I understood what he was doing and never thought to change it, can see how it might be a little confusing to some others though

Jack Garside - Thank you for your honest response. Sure, we all make mistakes and, hopefully learn from them. Lot of younger musicians, especially those coming from schools, rely too much on written charts and symbols, (not saying you are one of them), whereas older generation of jazz musicians often had to learn tunes on the bandstand and play off what they hear even if sometimes the changes may not have been be "correct" ones. Good transcription, though! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic transcription Jack! This is a great 2-feel version of Bye Bye Blackbird and Mr. Brown swinging hard, of course... by chance would a pdf of your work be available?

Hi, thanks a lot! I've just put a link to a pdf in the video description, hopefully that will work for you :)

On bar 9, Ray reaches F (ok in Am75b) instead of E out of scale. This time, he is not too false !!! ;-))
