In his autobiography Bro Ray Ray Charles never said that he was a saint, in fact he was brutally honest about the various people he hurt as a direct result of his love for His music overshadowing his family , friends and loved ones. His obsession with drugs and alcohol was another shortcoming that triggered many of his character defects and moral flaws. Through it all he has left one helluva musical legacy and philatrhopiic devotion and dedication to the blind and deaf people of the world he lived in and that says a lot about his remorse and contrite.
