Brilliant writers. British comedy is so much better than what we have in the USA. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I’ve heard there’s an interview with Galton and Simpson on the DVD box set but I’ve yet to locate it.

Giants of comedy writing Galton & Simpson. wrote many great shows over the years but there classic Steptoe and Son is my favourite comedy of all time and set the bar really high for future sitcoms to come...thanks for uploading ! **********PdH

No the biggest claim to fame was Steptoe. It's amazing Alex Belfield ignored everything Steptoe and everything was about Hancock.
