My favourite drummer at the moment, he just blows my mind. You can tell he is influenced by drummers like Portnoy but really has his own sound and groove. The Haken bois are a group of superstars I love what each member brings to the band.

Okay, by now I am convinced that aliens made Ray just to f*** with human drummers… what a phenomenally gifted musician… and anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting him can confirm that he is a so modest about himself that its almost absurd. He doesn‘t even seem to get the fuzz people are making. Please upload more videos of him drumming. Just awesome

Hell yeah! Ray is a beast! Loved seeing this! Amazing how Ray's ghost note work is shining really well is this recording. Never knew his left hand was so nast on the ghost notes! Awesome playing!

His drumming sounds so weird and "chaotic" on it's own, when isolated. But together with the other instruments it really shows his incredible creativity and composition skills. One of my favorite drummers, maybe technically not as crazy as Portnoy or Mangini, but way more interesting and definitely one of my favorites! Which is ironic.
