Egalement merci

If DR Congo was a democratic and stable country where business is done as usual, the brilliance of Ray Lema would be shining in Kinshasa conservatory. Unfortunately, this virtuoso will, one day, depart from this world without offering to his people the artistry God has gifted him with: classical music.

Hi Ray Lema,A " pause " between lots of readings and writings induces me to listen to and watch again your great musical performances. I had retrieved, however, an interesting file about Instrument Families of the Orchestra : String, Woodwind, Brass and Percussion. Improving humanities that secondary school curriculum implies, in Democratic Republic of Congo, is gradually becoming an obsession for me. I am glad that the government-organized final examinations sanctioning the end of the "humanities" , secondary school, studies in DRC are still relevant. I even listened to students' comments about something else : a test of writing skills or dissertation. I'd rather call it essay writing. Dissertation is something like a thesis. According to a student, it's a battle whereby they defend themselves on a piece of paper. As far as the Latin-Philosophy option is concerned, I strongly suggested DE ARCHITECTURA of Vitruvius Pollio Marcus in substitution of the usual classics, like De Bellum Jugurthinum, De Coniuratione Catilinae, etc. With a good computer lab, these other classics can be accessible for reading by students, although no longer part of the curriculum. There would be no need to remove Latin from the Curriculum. Vitruvius makes it respectable and in harmony with so many other courses : mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, aesthetics, music. For aesthetics I suggest Martin Heidegger, but music is very interesting as far as humanities are concerned. May be I am a father, or it's just normal to worry about the children's future, when one reaches a certain milestone in life. Our kids deserve to be well prepared for life's peripeteia. All normal adults should care. As if it was already built, I'm beaming with joy, whenever I imagine a Podium, as I suggested it for the College Saint Paul Kitumaini Bukavuonline, first of all, to support the existing structure that was somehow damaged by an earthquake. That Podium could also be for parties, playroom, lounging, and humanities students Chamber Orchestra performances.I guess, Orchestra, Symphony, Philharmonic aren't so easy to differentiate, but I believe that Chamber Orchestra is the right description of a smaller Symphony Orchestra. This is where, you could make valuable educational suggestions to improve Humanities for kids of Democratic Republic of Congo, while Vitruvius and Martin Heidegger take their idea of firmitas, utilitas, venustas ( strength, functionality, beauty ) notches higher. Our kids should deserve to wear nice suits, right after successfully completing their improved humanities studies. There is another Martin, I never thought of earlier, even when I included the German language in the many courses that I enrolled in at the University of Toronto between 1997 and the year 2000 : Herr Martin Herrenknecht. He is a very famous tunnel boring professional. There's a footage, among many others, that describe him best : Martin Herrenknecht, weltmarkfuhrer, tunnelbohrer aus Baden. When I learn about equipments and infrastructures distributed and built worldwide, I ask myself in what world Democratic Republic of Congo is. If it's because of prohibitive costs, we should know that precious metals are means of payment too. I am asking fellow Congolese to join their voices and writings to mine, so that Herr Martin Herrenknecht is effectively welcomed to bore the tunnel that I call Die Linie der Kasongo Lunda bis Tshikapa. A triple segments tunnel, for safety reasons, bored having in mind Human Scale ( villes a Echelle Humaine Cf. Jan gehl ), Resilient cities to plan ( Cf. Walter Christaller, Camillo Sitte, etc. ) and build for a satisfactory Geography of market places and RETAIL distribution.it's time we, in Democratic Republic of Congo, know that there's a life above precious stones wholes. Relying on minerals only, is like refusing a break-even point for a business. I hear and read about cattle keepers who trekked from eastern ends of the Country to Kwango, with cows. Saluting Muzito's efforts to solve the nascent troubles, I point out that instead of trekking, the cattle keepers should have made a good use of smart phones to let everybody know they have cows for sale. Cargo planes, chartered by many interested buyers, could have reached them wherever they are from, in Democratic Republic of Congo. They do not seem to live with their times. If those cows are good, as some authorities say, then it's awareness raising for those of us who need to learn about other aspects of the economy's primary sector. I hope I'll visit Fumu Toto, Boma, and Tschela some day.ThanksPaterne Murhula Bashengezi
