I mean, just install a double sink with a bigger vanity in their bathroom. They have the space for it on that wall, and honestly that house should be set up for a couple anyway.

@@valeria-militiamessalina5672 The point is that the set up for the central joke of the episode is flawed. The initial gag works here because of the visuals and how Ray has to knee jerk react with how Debra took his comments about using the kids' bathroom. But the scenes and jokes here drag on too long and lose their potency, and the later fight they have is just dumb because there is a very easy resolution to the conflict, and one that could have landed much better jokes. There could have been jokes about them arguing at the hardware store on what they want, Ray going nuts about the remodel cost and deciding to do it himself and utterly failing. He could have called Frank and Robert in for help, and that comedy pretty much writes itself.

I know, right? Ray was obviously working, but she acts like he’s the bad guy when he asks her to leave him in peace. Debra gets out of line all the time and then acts like she’s allowed to be mean to Ray but he can’t do it back.

All they needed to do was add an extra sink and mirror to the existing bathroom. It's one of those remodels that might've been expensive, but paid for itself and a huge selling point if they ever chose to leave that house.

I feel like that is unnecessary. A much better idea is for them to not use the bathroom at the same time. One of them uses the bathroom for a few minutes and during that time the bathroom is all theirs and then when they are done, the other person uses it.

I agree. My hubby and I have been fine in much worse. To kick your SO out of a bathroom is terrible. But then he doesn't participate in the important things. It's what makes the show both agonisingly frustrating and funny.
