Ray Stevens - The Camping Trip (Original)

"The Camping Trip (Original)" is from the album "Surely You Joust" and it was Ray Stevens' twenty-third studio album and his third for MCA Records. The album's front cover shows Stevens disguised as a medieval knight with a horse standing next to him. The album's back cover shows Stevens in the same costume but in a junk pile with two junk men.
Also, Ray rerecorded "The Camping Trip" for the album Hurricane in 2008.

I've never had the pleasure of hearing this artist. Someone in our neighborhood had put out a collection of country music , which I was fortunate enough to inherit. And tonight was the first night that I had heard this song. This man is hilarious 😂

We were sleeping in the log cabin without a floor in it. When the rain came in the fire came we thought it was going to destroy the log cabin. I'm never listening to that song at night again. As far as I know, almost none of Ray Stevens' songs are available on CD or Cassette, as most of them are sold out or are otherwise no longer in circulation nor are very many of his music videos available on VHS or DVD, that is unless you check out a novelty or record store anywhere close to where you live.
