WanderingRandomer Me too. I guess by Quinton's logic, if we spend time watching a lot of KZbin, we're kids, even if we're 25 or older? I'm not really personally offended by that, as I don't really care and I guess for me, it's a bit true except that I'm an adult with no job(because eplilesy), no romantic relationship (because I KNOW girls don't want to date a guy like me, who's stereotypically nerdy, likes things anime, and video games, I dropped out of high school, am 25 and STILL live with my mom), and nothing else to commit to. Yeah, I'm THAT pathetic. And just when I think I can't get MORE pathetic, the girl I've had a crush on for 2 years, one of my closest friends, tells me through of our normal texts, that she KNEW I had liked her, and she felt the same way, but certain things in her personal life prevented her from acting on those feelings, and she'd been regretting that for a long time. And she wanted me to expand my horizons and not wait my entire life for her or for the next 2 years. I knew this was going end this way, but it STILL hurt WORSE than i thought it would've. It felt like being sucker punched, by someone you know, not that I'm mad at her, it's my fault. I've been rejected before, but that particular one, which happened last month hurt the most. I've already lost my best friend, because he found a girlfriend, in 2012, so, now I've got WAY too much time on my hands to watch KZbin and comment on videos, blabbering about nothing... just like my real life, except most of the time, I'm not talking to myself or to the walls.

That is why I love Rhett and Link. Those guys survived EVERYTHING. Nobody thought of them as big names back in the day. But while almost all the big names of youtube yesteryears have fallen into obscurity, Rhett and Link kept building a clean and respective community and have made consistent funny quality content since 2009.

Ray is currently on TikTok, doing pretty well, I think, and I’d say that short form of content is benefiting him. I agree that =3 was very meh, only getting a light smile out of me every 5 videos, but on his TikTok, I consistently get up to a light chuckle. Maybe his writing has gotten better, maybe it’s just benefits of a different format.

I really like how this video discussed Ray. I never knew what happened to him and I always thought that people got the impression he was a jerk, or that some controversy about him killed his career. Even if this video points out that he wasn’t very talented, it seems like he was very passionate. Hearing that he retired from the online sphere because it was no longer fulfilling is weirdly wholesome, considering how other creators fall out of favor. I hope his stand uo career picks up, and that he and my mom continue to have lonely evenings together

The Watchmen pages chosen are perfect for this topic. From left wall to right wall: Dr Manhattan starts as a celebrated figure but becomes more and more estranged from fans and the people who love him. He is no longer able to understand what they will like and cannot comprehend WHY they don't like it. After alienating those closest to him he finds himself alone because humanity doesn't find him #relatable. This fundamental separation cannot be fixed by proximity as even when occupying the same physical space and acting like other people the chasm remains. One can only reminisce (ABSENT FRIENDS). Back on the left wall has Rorschach's identity crisis. The character he created has become far more appealing than his actual self and all reality gets filtered through that persona instead. The human connection threatens his worldview by putting a whole lot of gray into his black and white moral compass. It feels far safer to alienate all others and stay in his personal world (FEARFUL SYMMETRY). Anyway, it's 3:00am and what I really came here to say was SHOW DR MANHATTAN'S DICK YOU COWARD

I disagree with it though. I don't think you can qualify what h3h3 did as "more transformative" than what Ray did. The intention part of Matt Hoss is so up in the air that it doesn't prove anything. What if Matt Hoss intentionally made it 'cringy' to get views, and then h3h3 reacted to it pointing out how 'cringy' it was? Then what??? Ethan played nearly the entire video and he was also making snarky comments here and there. Ray's vids are clearly fair use. It's one thing to not find it funny, but clearly people were drawn to his commentary and personality.

+youtube fanboy You're joking right? h3h3's video was 100% within fair use and Hoss was WAY out of line to sue them. Did you even read what the judge said as to why h3h3 was in the right? How exactly did h3h3 humiliate Hoss? By showing his content and stating their opinions? You can't be sued for an opinion. If showing his content really "humiliates" him then I'd say Hoss humiliated himself by making those videos. In fact, I'd say that h3h3 gave Hoss more popularity so I really don't see the harm in h3h3's video. Are you one of those extremely sensitive idiots who think that people should be sued just because something they said hurt someone's feelings? There's a reason why you can't sue someone over their opinion. It seems like you're suggesting that a person should be sued just because he made fun of someone.
