I don't think that our 20's have ever been easy - the transition from childhood to adulthood is a complex one, and can take time to sort out - all probably exacerbated nowadays by the dissolving of traditional structures (gender roles, strong family ties, job security etc.) that used to stabilise lives. Brilliant piece of work tho ...
