Erik Yet you fail to realise that what I said wasn’t entirely negative. Nor am I a negative person. But as someone who knows and understands what it is to sing. Her talent isn’t very high. She does have a moderately decent voice. However use logic. It lacks all emotion. She only sings the way Raye herself sang the song. She uses both auto tune and heavy reverb. Someone with talent/skill does not need this. I apologise if I offended you. But hey.. this world has become overly sensitive about all things nowadays. This also being said. For you to say that Olives cover is better than the original is mind blowing my stupid. (This is not negativity.) This is unfortunately fact as the talent is beyond word which Raye holds. You should know this. Hence why I said what I did. So I now say this with respect. Get out of your own ass and use logic before trying to call someone out for what it isn’t. Foxx I do respect you trying to explain your point of view responsibly and logically - too often there are people who say things without meaning/explanation. I appreciate you taking the time to explain. I admit, I could tell it was auto tuned, but in the end who isn’t? No one is perfect, and I think that Olive is just as good a singer as Raye - the only difference being that one has a huge platform and the other doesn’t. I don’t think it’s stupid to think of them on the same level. I may have been exaggerating when I said it was better than the original, but if it encourages Olive to keep singing, I’m happy to say it. There’s too much negativity in the world these days. Let everyone else say what they want, and don’t call them ‘stupid’ for voicing an opinion.
