... we might see you back in, what ... two or three weeks then? It's hard to say exactly ... but make sure the minibar in your submersible is well stocked up! Clothing wise, you be you, but most people will want a little black dress at some point. Prada if budget allows, but Raye will be fine if you show up in a bin liner with cut outs - say it's Vivienne Westwood and have a laugh! Oh, and just trust me on this, take something suitable for serving cakes… think Great British Bake Off, it'll all make sense soon enough. Now, you must take plenty of oxygen, and honestly, listen to me, more than you think - an aerobic crisis is the last thing you want when you're literally unable to keep yourself from sobbing and dancing. Emotional? Well yes, it is a bit of a roller coaster, I'm not gonna lie - but if you find yourself feel rough at any point, do not panic! Just hold on and go with it, cos Raye's got you babe. Dealing with trauma is what she does, and she says herself that she's a very very strong fucking woman, so it's cool, y'know what I mean? She's all about the journey, so enjoy!

Yes, I mean Montreux (and also North Sea Jazz, or Pukkelpop...) were already epic, but with every new performance she adds new details and improves the previous one... She said herself that she wasn't completely satisfied with all of her choices at Montreux (and was nonetheless proud of it...) ... As a real live artist who has not everything planned out ahead and leaves room for improvisation you never get the same performance twice from her, and usually the newest one will be the best as she's still growing as an artist...

There’s two live versions that she released. If it’s the one on the white stage with the white dress, that one is good, but there’s one before that in a brown dress, which I still think is her best ever. I don’t know the names of the venues, sorry.
