what made that chorus so catchy is the fact that she maintains the same tone on her voice, while the background synth piano is changing the chords, she keeps a note with the voice that is harmonic with the chords that the piano is playing

Raye - Black Mascara - is another great song. Her music is amazing. So refreshing to know there are still this incredible talented artists out there. Music industry did us dirty the past 15 years ..everything sounds more or the less the same or borrows from the 90s and 80s. No own creativity. Its all about money. And then you find rare diamonds like this. It gives me hope.

Also, you should check out more from 070 Shake, her album “You Can’t Kill Me” beats are fire, haunting and dark.. Mike Dean is behind a lot the music production. Check out Medicine, Skin and Bones and Cocoon. Another really beautiful song, Black Dress.. it was released last year. I like her new music more than her early work so I hope you enjoy
