I’m 56. I just heard this song for the first time in my life. I am completely smitten. I have listened to a lot of lata ji’s songs, but since I’m a Tamilian I didn’t have the opportunity to listen to ALL of her songs. So I end up discovering new ones every now and then. This song is so beautiful. How could anyone sing this better? Simply amazing. It’s a very special feeling to lie in bed in the middle of the night, unable to sleep and then you turn on this song. Ali bhai, In the golden era of hindi songs & movies, we had gems of great film artists, including lyrists, directors of movies and music, great singers and amazing actors. All of them had a wonderful chemistry and between them no ill feeling or fights. Helping ech other was their quality. We can not limit with one or two. Khayyam Saab was no less than others. And only those songs we are still enjoying. In my opinion, Naushad Saab, Rafi Saab & Lata ji - all the three were created by God above human talent.
