Honestly a really creative idea for a Rayman fan game, like the new themes for Ly, Razoff. And presumably the Rabbid, that’s something I really like that you’re composing new songs for each of the newcomers, My main question will every character from the original M/Arena be returning? Since while we saw Razorwife and Henchman 1000, Tily and Dark Globox haven’t been seen in the trailer so I’m just curious if they were cut from this fan sequels roster.

Hey i am really glad you like it and yea, I don't think UbiSoft will come up with something similar very soon. They missed out - Barbara was thought to be added to the game when we figured the classic Roster up to the Rabbids - with fighting effects like mario kart you probably mean ?-boxes? Or slow down effects that you can apply on other players? - Something like this we also want to explore and establish. We already decided to add a Box where you can enable and disable certain game features, and mix it up or enable M-Mode for Classic Rayman M feeling - new levels and arenas are thought to be implemented, but exactly from Rayman 2 and 3, and remakes of Rayman M, but honestly, that's a big selection already. I also thought about looking into other titles, because every new character gets a dedicated new race track with his release :D

Hey that's a really nice suggestions! We were thinking about implementing some kind of Power Up from Rayman 3 into it, but scrapped the idea. But making the individual costumes playable is really easy to implement! Good one. Also we will have the Gothic and Grandma Rayman Skins from Raving Rabbids in it xD

Henchman 800 hands down has the most badass theme in Rayman M considering the entire Rayman franchise. A very close 2nd place is the OST of Snowboard Race from Rayman 3.

It's a fangame made by me and I can always recall on creative and helpful people from the Rayman Community to help me out with gathering resources or programming in the Lumen Engine (made by LightSpeedZX) "Binging" would be nice but it can be challenging to work on making the game and uploading a lot of youtube videos. Including razoff was fantastic and in my opinion a remastered version of him could carry well as a main villain for a new rayman game set after rayman 3 in a completly "the most Dangerous game" style game where maybe he thanks to begoniax has magic powers that enhance his capability as an Hunter and for have his revenge on rayman transform the entire Land of Dreams in a big Island of his with rayman and all his friends trapped there including also the old ones like Ly, Clark, sssam, etc......

Hey that's really interesting suggestion you are giving here. I am actually looking into on how to re-introduce all the characters in a soft-rebootet Rayman Universe, that takes place after Rayman 3, in a way all playable characters (Rabbid, Reflux, Andre, RoboPirates, MrDark) can co-exist at the same time. At the moment I have a rough imagination of how to bring Razoff back. (1) One connection could be that he teams up with Begoniax, what you suggested, is a nice thought. (2) He could have teamed up with the Robo Pirates. I thought of him on board of a robo pirate ship as some general or admiral, having a better loadout, so in Battle Mode he can switch between 3 weapons when he is has enough energy (3) Also there might be 2 extra Razoff skins, of his brothers (Nimrod, I forgot other names). Classic Razoff = Red, so we can also have some royal blue or yellow admiral hunter outfits for him.

Few things :o 1 - Is this gonna be its own game seperate from Rayman M? 2 - At the end with Reflux, is that Clark? 3 - If it is gonna be a seperate game, will there be skill to pvp? like a shield button? proper aiming? Dont get me wrong, I love the simplicity of Rayman M's PVP, but It does need something else added to it, hovering around a item pickup, and just spamming the random drop you get isnt the best thing if you know what I mean. But im hyped for this, cinematic was classic, reminds me of the good old days

Reflux, Clark and Razoff (and maybe some others that will have bigger bodies than the usual cast) will retain their relative sizes, but might be scaled down by a tiny bit. We want them to look like as big as they really are! The way to balance that hitbox difference in Battle Mode will be through giving bigger characters +1 max. HP. So Reflux and Clark will have 6 HP for sure. We have to do some calculations by comparing their overall hitbox volumes and then we decide how we can balance it out evenly.

If there really is a game like this coming out... Just be aware of how weird the style of the assets are. We have tons of low-poly PS1 models, with HD textures, then GameCube models in the exact same environment as them, all in realistic environments, or low-poly, but high-textured, realistically lit environments. What I'm saying is, it just looks inconsistent. It's best you avoid using the models of previous games, assuming you would like to make it look cohesive.

The models you see in the Trailer can be seen as kind of "Placeholders".all of these characters will be polished and enhanced/ made from scratch. For example with tools that make hair and cloth move simulated and realistic, give the characters more 3D depth and so on. Everthing will take time Most of the original M characters will be remade from scratch. The Ly model you see is not the final version aswell, although her tail is already using simulated bone physics (you can see it really well when she is landing on the stone and the tail bounces off, which was not a premade animation, but completely simulated) Also we want to make her look more classic but revive it with more spirit and hair detail. Reflux is almost completely fine, except for some hard edges. Razoff will be overworked to look more traditional and royal, also getting 2 new skins. Clark will be completely remade to look better. But Rayman's model from Rayman 3 looks completely fine to us here, he never looked better! thanks for sharing your ideas!
