I'm doing the short lived Rayman animated series. This is what I would considered to be the saddest video game cartoon.

@@rappingbeaniedog347 He executed the washed up celebrity trope in a way that was still refreshing to see when compared to Bojack Horseman & the rest because it combined it with the "Unwilling pawn" & "it only takes 1 bad day" tropes to make him compelling on his own rather than feel like a rounder lookin' taller spamton. Not to mention how it somewhat parallels the franchise's relationship with the corporation that "owns" it. [copyright is bullshit but whatever].

To be honest I feel like the secondary cast could be sooooo easily replaced with the videogames counterparts- Globox instead of Lac-Mac, Bettina with Ly, Flips with Murfy, Cookie with uh... I don't know, maybe Clark?

Not gonna lie, aside from Captain Laserhawk, if Rayman were to get an actual show, I would probably like for it to look like the Rayman 3 TV ads. "Now be careful, Rayman, only shoot the bad guys."

You know this show would be much better if it's more accurate to the rayman games including the fan favorites origins and legends I also think that rayman's supposed friends in the show should be replaced by already existing characters in the franchise, lac mac should be globox, betina should be betilla (yes the hot one) and cookie and flips should be bzzit the moskito and murfy

Apparently the reason why globox wasn’t in this series was because the showrunners thought that a giant blue frog character would offend french audiences but yeah this series just doesn’t feel like a Rayman animated series it’s not one of the worst shows based off a video game franchise believe me there are far worst shows but still honestly you could take Rayman out of this series and just replaced him with an original character and literally nothing would change and do I really need to say anything about billy wests Rayman voice it’s been made fun of to death so all I’m going to say is that I honestly think billy wests voice as murfy suits him a lot more than it does for Rayman also it really baffles me how Rayman’s animated series got cancelled after only 4 episodes and yet the rabbids tv show can still be going on to this day and could even be getting a potential movie

I decided to watch this cartoon myself (might get the DVD and review it myself but I’ve got enough projects to do already) and to be honest its main problems are 1: the short episodes suck, episode 1 felt like half of a 20 minute episode and it was very jarring when it ended. 2: the plots are too generic or boring, they should have focused more on the characters and their dynamics. 3: while Rayman’s world always changes, there’s nothing interesting about this one, they should have borrowed elements from the first 2 games at the least (also Rigatoni should have showed up more.)

I remember reading about this show on the Polish Rayman Wiki back when I was a kid and being very... confused. It didn't interest me, it just seemed weird. Now that I've watched the video... yeah, no. This show is terrible and beyond saving. There's boring and then there's just plain _painful._

I don't understand why Ubi does their best to tarnish Rayman. Such a cool protagonist with great adventures and in return he gets shit on constantly. If it's a running joke it's an awful one. Rayman deserves better.

Super Mario Bros Super Show a masterpiece, is that a joke? The cartoon made me chuckle a couple of times, although its mostly because its so bad its good, but that's just my opinion. I think the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog despite being a bad adaptaion is actually a bit better, being genuinely funny, like Robotnik becoming superman, the slapstick humor when its handled well, and the times when its just plain cheesy.

@@DB_on_YT_2102 because the show has no value, it has some of its moments but I’ve seen it so many times to the point where the jokes aren’t funny anymore, you can only do so much with 4 episodes. (Besides your better off playing the games anyways.) Rabbids invasion may not be great, but I would watch it over most of the terrible shows we have gotten recently.
