I still think Rayman 3 design was the best for the character. Every single iteration since then was basing itself in it, with the hoodie and head shape. One thing missing is his boots with spirals on them. I also wish Rayman as a character was developing a little bit. Last time he posed as actual character was Rayman 2, where he was actually having dialogues with characters, was taking himself seriously and had real agenda. Since Rayman 3 he seems like a party kid going through acid trip. Still love the character and the world he's in, but it would be refreshing if he took himself seriously for a game or two again.

This new design has really grown on me over the last few months. I especially love the new hoodie and shoes. The only thing I'd change is the eyes. Black eyes are Rayman's colour but it's a small change and I've gotten use to them as well. I also think if it gets modded it will make a nice change from the Rayman 3 design. I love the Rayman 3 desgin but I've seen it in mods and GMod animations for so long I think it would be nice to see a new look in said GMod animations

Theres's a theory about Rayman designs that which every game, Rayman appears to get older, in the 1st one he looks like a little kid, in Rayman 2 like a 20-12yro boy, in Raving Rabbids more like 18ish and it goes on.

Honestly, the only thing that bothers me about his new design is his eyes, the brown eye-color doesn't really suit him.

I like the new design / outfit. It's refreshing. The only things that bugs me is his hair that looks too round ( almost like bananas lol ), which was not the case in the first reveal/teaser, where his hair were sharper/pointier And for now I don't mind the brown eyes, tho I'd prefer if they stayed black. I'm overall happy and maybe I'll check the game once the DLC is out. Before the Rayman trailer, that made me dig a bit on the game, I though both Mario+Rabbids were party games, like a mix between Mario Party and Rabbids game

I’ve always disliked the post OG Rayman design, my all time fav will always be the first one, especially with 3 hair bangs and not only 2 ! This is a feature I’d like to see back ! The only occurrence of the newer design I liked was in Origins/Legends, but as you said, it was because of the art style the games used

i mean the new design looks nice, the last thing i didn't wanted when they make the first reveal of rayman dlc was if he looked too similar to the design of legends, and fortunately it doesn't happend
