Nice set up. What are the dimensions of the transducer? Thanks

Good video mate. I had a Garmin side scan, all it did was run my battery down twice as fast. I think side scan is only useful in really shallow water, say 5 meters. I just switched to a normal one now with super light lithium batteries. I get 8 hours run time from a 250 gram pack.

The big thing I've got out of this unit is the capability to draw my own maps and also the improvement in processing power

just brought this exact sounder for my kayak, did you end up mounting the transducer inside the hull? or is it just loose flopping around in there? just wondering for when I do my install. I also have a minn kota 30lb trolling motor and a 100 amp deep cycle battery to power it all. anyway that's a sick little rig, just subscribed...

I have a setup video coming out soon which shows how it sits. As for not getting to your comment sooner, I am not always able to get to everybody straight away. Cheers

Hi, My 12v 12AH battery got only max 3amps output !! can it enough power for the element 7HV ???

The 17.5aH is definitely the option to go for, it holds the 12V throughout the day and has the amp output too.
