This guy is a HOF, along with his brother and PCO. Ray was the play-by-play man for the French telecasts back in the days, and he was very very good at it. I never understood why they disbanded the French language team back then, but I always am happy to see him during the PPVs doing the telecasts.

I swear to god, the Mountie is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. Love that character, and his promo's were second to none. Me and my cousin used to call ourselves the Quebecers at times (and i'm from Moncton)

Ray was a great interviewer. There's a nice one before Survivor Series 1993 where Jacques to them being brothers without spelling it out. And he also was memorable when he read out German tour dates. His "Freitag" and "Samstag" was cute!

​@@rlouie05 Vince most likely took pleasure in exploiting a technicality to spitefully mock the RCMP on its own terms. It certainly was considerably easier and cheaper to tweak a mid-card wrestler's gimmick than to fight a legal battle in a foreign country with laws different from those of the US.

Ray speaking only French on TV? Sure, he speaks French when he's doing the French commentary but way back when he was an interviewer (1993/94), he spoke perfect English!
