Looks more like the face on a grandfather clock than a watch with two tone. Nice indices and case, love SW-200’s Thank you for sharing!

I really like the small seconds version of that watch.

Agreed. I think I'd like it more if it were 36-37mm in size. Seems more appropriate.

@@morgan97475 you kinda got your wish to, saw on IG that they are releasing a 35mm one

Great looking watch. Has Longines Heritage Classic vibes to me. In this category, the Hamilton Intra-matic is a solid choice as well. As always, great video Rob! Thanks!

Handsome watch. 20 years ago, I wanted a RW Freelancer. Never pulled the trigger.

I also believe Raymond Weil has held out as an independent brand. Their open heart rectangular/TV case is one of the few open heart watches I actually like the implementation of. Their Maestro with roman numerals is attractive to me too. But now with this Millesime they are coming so close to desirable. I normally prefer a small seconds, and hey, it won the prize, but this gold PVD central seconds removes the gripe of the odd placed typography on the small seconds and perhaps revelas this dial as a champion in a cleaner (sure, a little more boring) iteration. I love the side case profile. It's thin already and then there is polish on top on two facets of the bezel, and on the bottom. It really makes this an excellent marriage of traditional (lugs) with contemporary (vertically brushed top). The whole design just seems to be elevated by the gold finish. Sure, it would be nice to have this in solid gold, as I have concerns about the finish wearing off, but perhaps in rotation the risk of this reduces significantly. Also, I would not be able to afford it in solid gold. This will be a model to seek out at the right discount. After all, it is only an SW200 and there is nothing inherently special about the way it's made. It just does a wonderful job at being a dress watch full of tradition without falling into the trap of oldfashioned details or attempting to simulate much more expensive handcrafted finishing. It is therefore an 'honest' design in this respect, and that works well for an independent , slightly off-beat and udnervalued, Swiss watch company. The strap is the icing on the cake, here. I can only agree with how well this works. So, even if you might rarely use the drilled lugs thanks to this, I like the touch of functional aestethic these give in the classically rounded lug-ends. The fact that even the markers have a little bit of lume is commendable and unexpected for the style. Besides list price, only the size could usefully be reduced a little. It works very well on your wrist. I think you totally should to this with T and jeans, comfortable, smart-casual to the max!

Nice old fashion look, the brand is difficult to clasify, not luxury brand, not popular brand,a little expensive for behing middle class brand...need to define a strategy, like tudor,i like this watch but it wil be better in gold not pvd,but gold at decent price, not 16000$,if chiness brand sell tourbillon in gold for 5000$,they have to do the same
