TESTING $70 HIGH SPEED BEARINGS!

Today we are testing $70 high speed bearings! The bearings that were tested in this video are ceramic bearings. They are rated as one of the fastest bearings on the market today and at $70 for a set of 8, I sure would hope so. I am comparing them to $10 Envy Scooters ABEC9 bearings that I normally ride in my scooter wheels. I used the same exact wheels in both bearings which had almost the same amount of wear. They were the same size, same urethane, etc. to make sure that the comparison was fair. I rode both sets of bearings for just about the same amount of time. I did some high speed tests like when I went towards the largest ramp in the skatepark to get some air. I also did some high compression tests like fly-out tricks like 360 buttercup, quad tailwhip, barspin combos etc. I did express my opinion in the end of the video. To me, I don't think the ceramic bearings made as large of a difference as I would expect when paying $70 for bearings, but they were faster. But, I don't know if they'll be stronger. I'll continue to test these bearings to see how much longer they last compared to the cheaper bearing. Don't forget to stick around until the end of the video for today's positive message! I think the longevity of bearings in skateboards compared to scooters is because there's twice as many bearings supporting the weight of the rider on a skateboard. The shock on skateboards' bearing would be allot less dampened by the urethane because skateboard wheels are way harder. Scooters also take really big impacts on a single wheel very often.
