I recently used this radio when our electricity went out and other electronics didn't work. It worked great to get a local station, even in the basement and worked so much better than the huge unit my husband has. This is a great backup radio when you have no power.

Thanks for the useful demonstration. I’m getting two! The old proverb that if you have one of something for emergencies, you have none. If one breaks one of you are out of luck. AM reception is bad in the greater Cleveland area too - lol. The radio is awesome.
