I am from the Roanoke, Va area (where the TV station WDBJ7 is located) all I had to do was read the title and I knew immediately that it was the WDBJ7. Here is additional information: The Roanoke Virginia based news station was in a neighboring county, Franklin County doing a segment. When the reporter, cameraman, and a person getting interviewed gets sh0t. The cameraman and reporter passed as mentioned, but the person who was being interviewed survived and was able to give the Franklin County Sheriff Office, Roanoke County Sheriff Office, and Roanoke City Police Department information on it. The WDBJ7 team and numerous news stations not only in southern Virginia, but across the country held a moment of silence following this incident.

Here's the thing: The Cameraman and Reporter are low rung employees (Not disrespecting them), just stating; Because, he went after them and NOT the actual Person who fired him. Why, at that Station? He was fired from others. Something tells me: Alison and the Cameraman were involved; However, the day Vester and he (cameraman) worked alone, Vester, probably asked the Cameraman out and he said "NO!" So, once he realized those two were together, he wanted revenge. No one spoke negatively to him. He was just angry and confused.
