Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Mouse: geni.us/T5tf
@Hamudy007 Жыл бұрын
I bought this mouse („basilisk v3 x hyperspeed“) and I am mostly happy with it. I had the older „basilisk x hyperspeed“ before and had no connectivity issues. I mainly bought the successor to also use the „Blackwidow v3 Mini hyperspeed“ with a single hyperspeed dongle. Everything seems OK except one thing: After the new mouse goes into sleep mode after a few minutes (e.g. while watching a video) it wakes up after you move it or click it….but this takes „forever“ (about 5 seconds). The old mouse didn’t have that issue. What is your experience with the mouse waking up from sleep mode??

I have this problem with the basilisk v1, it doesnt wake up from sleep mode and I have to remove the battery and put it in again to make it work

It's just reloading the values and DPI (that's why suddenly appears the color of your chosen DPI), so it shouldn't be uncommon if it's just 5 seconds

there is a windows settings for bluetooth devices power modes and waking pc up, thats if it is connected via bluetooth

I have this mouse and when using Bluetooth Mode on a Dual boot machine it will only remain synced and working on 1 OS at a time. IE: Working fine on Linux via Blueotooth, Switch to Windows 11 after restart through boot loader the device is still connected via Bluetooth to Win 11 but doesn't work. If I un-pair and re-pair it works fine. Then when I go back to Linux same thing. It will only stay paired/working to one OS at a time. 2.4ghz works as it should w/ the dongle but I hate having it sticking out the side.

bro can you tell us the difference between 2.4 and bluetooth is one more responsive?
@cmillett85 Жыл бұрын
2.4 Ghz is the same frequency as Wi-Fi, which IS faster, more secure, & more reliable. I’ve used bluetooth mice, and it’s nice to have if you don’t have the USB receiver (if you lose it somehow) that enables 2.4 GHz, but if I can use 2.4 GHz, then I’ll take that over Bluetooth any chance I can get. Also, with the USB receiver that enables 2.4 GHz, you can still use the mouse in a computer’s BIOS (the firmware that communicates between the software and hardware; think of it like the operating system of the motherboard), which is great for troubleshooting or making configurations if you have a high end (gaming) PC. Hope this helps, but 2.4 Ghz > Bluetooth ANY day. The only thing more superior than a 2.4 Ghz gaming mouse is a WIRED mouse. Typically, no other method beats a wired mouse. Wireless mice (with 2.4 GHz that is) have gotten close and will continue to improve, but nothing will ever defeat a direct connection to the computer like a WIRED mouse. When I game, I usually use a wired mouse, but when I travel (which is Monday through Friday for me), I always take this Razer mouse with me, especially for work.

@SakkiDuranАй бұрын
@@D4RKV3NOM may encounter various problems with batteries. Also contamination. Unless you plan to have rechargeables but that's an extra device to charge them. And if you run out of them then there's nothing you can do. I'll stick to my Logitech MX ftm.

Have the Basilisk V3 for a year now its much cheaper cuz its wired , i just recomend it , its great . The only thing is , i had a problem once with a firmware but a 5-10 min googleing than updating the firmware fixed it . Maybe take a look at that.
