This can be real. A smart AI tracking algorithm with real-time environment detection is completely feasible. While contacts may be out of the question, an Augmented Reality AR google glass like product can definitely work. A bigger drone with larger battery capacity + wind/environmental stability can work too. Just replace the contacts with a goggles module or be headset

Its a 1/2 yes 1/2 no, as in the good perspective, [u get to charge when not in use, acting like a portable charger just for it], [and technically for some countries u cant fly drones, which means having this would be way harder to be caught.] This is only if u have enough control of the drone, or if not it would be a real waste (like a no joke amount) after u fly it way out of reach or crash it accidently while auto-piloting (if i didn't hear wrongly u can do so with that drone)
