Thank you for this review Mr Sujano, and Thank you Razor for sending this in for a review on the channel! This seems to be a good and honest review! This product seems great for emulation, and I was looking for something like this for a while. Perhaps, could the design include a lower lever to support the phone from the bottom? A magnet might also help for a mount with some cases!

Ever since I got a Steamdeck I have not looked back. I've spent a small fortune on these types of controllers over the years. The Steamdeck killed all of that. My poor gamesir g8 just collects dust now. I was really into emulation on my phone with these types of controllers...but then the steamdeck....lol As always, great video and channel

I tend to avoid gaming on the smartphone controller accessories as I've learned from the gameboy advance days that even the accessories (The one with the built in light my sister had would fall off if you moved around too much. It also would hurt my neck a lot when leaning on your side. It definitely was made to be played sitting or standing up right not leaning on your bed. The same thing with the DS/DSi and 3DS) would either work or it would require a workaround. And while we still have the accessories to this very day, once I got my own gaming laptop I never bothered to get a steam deck or anything else despite the massive price tag beyond $1,000. But while a desktop may be great for many gamers, not only does it suck sooooo much electricity from the grid, but if the power goes out then the whole thing shuts off and you have to boot it up again with a portable massive 3000+ watt battery bank to hook it up off the grid with solar panels or some other renewable energy source to power up devices (and desktop computers aren't great at keeping costs low since you also need a monitor to boot it up from and those aren't cheap to keep electricity down so gaming laptops, while you can upgrade some things here and there, you would need to buy multitude of parts to make your own gaming laptop, replace the one you have with another working motherboard, or get a new one altogether, you can still use the device even when the power goes out for a few minutes or so unless you're currently gaming or something). Seeing you get the steam deck and loving it is like me doing it on a gaming laptop and never looking back (And yes it may be expensive but it's worth the cost).

Great review. I've been gaming on my Retroid Pocket 3+ for quite some time now, but I've recently purchased a Galaxy Z Fold 6, which has much more horsepower. Good lord, right off the bat, there's going to have to be hundreds of reports of which phone is compatible with the devices to have the USB Type C port working on their phones compared to which ones don't fit/work at all with this device....It's going to be one heck of a document if someone went through MULTITUDE of smartphones and tablets to figure out which one works. Gees, despite this review, I like how you went through each part of this and took a while to make this review just so you can give the audience everything they need to know about this device...But again, as a person who doesn't do mobile gaming (Considering Mobile gaming is something I don't like to bother or deal with ), this is not for me. I'd rather take the money and use that for a HDD/SSD, USB Sticks/SD Cards or controllers.

I had the same issue with the Kishi V2 l4 r4.. or on my version it look like it was macros has an M on it. I also didn't like the little mushroom sticks, but a deal-breaker was the l4r4 way too cramped you always hit when you're pressing the triggers especially the inner trigger. The best one was the razer Kishi original too bad it didn't have telescopic but everything was greater than that. Also you may want to check even though it says fast charging on mine it says fast charging but doesn't fast charge it's regular charging not a big deal but it does say fast charging but doesn't fast charge on the screen just like yours said. I'm not sure if yours actually fast charges or is just saying man and then actually charges a bit slower. For me if someone can get the Razer Kishi v1 that works with their phone I have a Poco X3 pro the camera bumps made it where was too floppy and very loose but if your phone doesn't have a big camera bump it could be an amazing controller for like 40 bucks now. I don't see much difference between the version two or the ultra they still have that annoying l4 r4 button which in some emulators and such it will trigger things. And I don't like the mushroom tops I like a stick that's higher up. Definitely not worth $150. When I bought mine well over a year ago when it first came out wasn't worth 99 either. I was happier with the $40 one the only thing it was a bit loose it wasn't telescopic and that was the original razer Kishi.

8BitDo Pro 2, Playstation Dualsense, Switch Pro Controller. As far as telescopic controllers yeah most of them use the Xbox layout more. I think it has a lot to do with Game Pass cloud gaming being pretty popular on Android/iOS and likely a bigger market for the Xbox layout. But if you don't mind using a phone clip setup then I would recommend the DualSense or 8BitDo Pro 2 personally as both are pretty solid.

I for one wouldn't get this one because I think it's ugly 😆 but fast charging passthrough is a nice feature. The Gamesir G8 has passthrough but it's not fast charging, If I'm playing something more battery intensive it only slows down battery consumption (can't confirm if it's only 5W or just not as fast as the charger would allow for plugin directly into the phone)

As with most all 'mobile' controllers, the thing is gigantic, same size as carrying an entire gaming console like the switch lite or PS vita or 3ds. Why doesn't anyone ever make an actual portable game controller like the steel series free mobile controller (whose bluetooth is now hopelessly outdated and has massive input lag and is thus unusable). The only thing there is now is the 8bitdo micro, which isn't ergonomic like the steel series free was.

Regarding Nintendo’s recent actions on emulation, this is the only solution: *All types of intellectual property (IP) laws must be fully abolished immediately, in any and all jurisdictions worldwide.* All IP laws are extremely unethical for humankind. Against Intellectual Monopoly is the most informative book humanity has on the subject now. Against Intellectual Property is _another_ incredible essay, but it’s written from a right-libertarian perspective so if you’re, like me, not right-libertarian you’ll have to read with an open mind and extract what’s helpful. _Only_ these two texts are the gold standard when it comes to intellectual property.

Another overpriced trash Razer product! A good gamepad stands and falls with the D-Pad period! For everyone doing Retro gaming on their Mobile Device, this controller is complete garbage and not even worth half the price! I have here several better official console Gamepads Xbox360/One/Series/P$3/4 and for retro gaming i also would not recommend a single one of them! Simply because they all fail when it comes to the D-Pad design. And the Razer Kishi is a total fallout in that aspect! The PS3/4 gamepads especially are atrocious. Diagonal inputs are almost impossible to execute reliably. When you play for example, Symphony of the Night and try to cast Spells. You will notice very fast how garbage your gamepad truly is! SNES, Dreamcast, PS1/2 gamepads work like wizardry. And even a modified/fixed XBox 360 D-Pad works great. Like putting a flat piece of plastic between the D-Pad and the Silicon, i kid you NOT! And its like a different gamepad altogether! Thats an actual hotfix for the gamepad....
