I have the naga 2014 and its a amazing mouse. I personally HATE Razer but I got it for $50 so i'm happy. I dont play mmo's, only fps games such as CSGO and BF4. The buttons are great for switching weapons as you dont have to move your left hand on the number keys, messing up walking or strafing while switching weapons. The coating is really nice, I disagree with you guys here. Once the coating is broken in, it is very comfortable and doesn't get too gross if you get sweaty. I honestly would rather have a Naga over a g600, as I feel the naga is more comfortable. If you play mmo's but also play FPS games, this is a great mouse to have. I recommend (But still hate razer, stupidly overpriced shit and they copy everybody). I would be happy to reply to questions!
@MrDeNnalol10 жыл бұрын
May I ask who they are copying? Fact is Razer is one of the most innovative (not the only) gaming companies, they made the first gaming mouse (boomslang), they made the naga whitch some companies copy and they made the first gaming ultrabook (blade) which everyonr copy AND best of all, they got a sweet ass CEO Min Liang Tan. And overpriced, man they are not the only gaming company that got overpriced shit *cough* Logitech *cough*. Have a nice day or good night as it is for me. ;)
@carnyx_10 жыл бұрын
They Copied Corsiar on the whole rgb thing that they were doing. Also I really dont like razer because of their shit they say because they brag that their switches are better then cherry switches, witch is the biggest bullshit of the century. They said cherry switches are good for typing but not for gaming. fucking retards at razer. Other then that project Cristine or whatever looked pretty cool and I like the blade alot :)

The only problem I have is when I am gaming, I often press the buttons on the side by accident which may cause problems depending on what they are binded to. So if you have quite a firm grip, it can be annoying.

I'm used to the old nagas where button 4 and 5 are near the front left of the left click. I find those buttons on this newer style of mouse to be a pain to use. If I had actually tried the newer style in stores I would have not gotten it.

I've had both as well and have to 100% agree with you that the G600 is the better mouse without a doubt. That's not to mention that I had quality problems with the naga. It started to double click after about 6 months of use. Took it apart and fixed the spring about 3-4 times before it wouldn't stay bent any longer. Reading up on this, I found that I was not the only one that had this problem with the naga.

I found that the rubber in the right side became sticky from the glue separating from the mouse. That and the mouse stopped working a few weeks after use. I've been a big fan of most Razer products for a lot of years now and the Naga has gone through several design changes over the past few years and each time they seem to be moving in the right direction. As far as the non slip surface I can appreciate it a great deal due to having naturally very oily skin and to be fair since this mouse IS geared towards MMO players it will be in use for long periods of time at once. The predecessors of this current design had a tendancy to go as far as falling out of your hands after a couple hours due to lack of grip

While I agree with pretty much everything said during this review, the build quality however lacks. I've had the mouse for 2 months now and the right side rubber sidding that adds grip to the mouse for your pinky has been slowly deteriorating. Every day I have to wipe the glue off of the mouse because it is degrading. It is now a very sticky mess.

Thumb buttons in this break easily. older version of naga lasted on my hands about 3 years, used 2 in six years. then switched to this newer version, 1st lasted 6 months and second about six months also. In both cases button 8 broke down. Yeah I do play a lot and that button 8 is usually my spam skill, but compared to older naga this one is so crappy.

In 2018 I bought a DeathAdder prior to that had used this 2014 Naga. Briefly had a Corsair Vengeance which actually broke despite having what seemed like a high end build quality to it. While my Naga is pretty worn it still functions decent. I think the Laser tech has gone as far as it can and the LED Optic is where the real precision advancement is. So while this review kinda takes the air out of this mouse I gotta say that it's a really reliable work horse of a mouse.

This comment may be 3 months late but yes there is a wireless option, they are called ''Razer Naga Epic'' But when it comes to wireless mmo mice i don't think there are a lot of good options around, the Razer Nagas are known to break after a really short amount of time, i experienced it too with the current Naga, and the battery life is short aswell. If you really wanna go for mmo you should dump wireless and consider the Corsair Scimitar (I'm not a Corsair sheep it's just the overall better mouse and also better built) If you don't need a lot of side buttons maybe the Logitech G900 or G403, both of them i really enjoy using and long lasting!

This was probably the best version they ever made. They need to make the Left-Handed NAGA for Right-Handed players. Their current versions for right-handed players have less programmable buttons and the Trinity doesn't feel as good as the older NAGA versions I used to own. Razer is going backwards with their development. When you perfect a mouse, stop tinkering with it. And keep it corded.

I have some things to say about this If you have normal-small size hands dont buy it its too big I bought it for league of legends 2 years ago and i can say that it gets the job done IF you have a control mouse pad.Before i get one the experience was awful and nowadays i play a lot of PUBG its good and bad at the same time its very easy to switch guns put heals and this stuff but when it comes to lift round the mouse lose the game because of its height(the lift round is when you want to look behind you and you lift your mouse a bit if you dont have the space to make a 180 degree. Despite its negatives it can offer some good experience for mmo and shooter games but i would prefer some other mouse because as i said before its to heavy and big for me
