Razer Naga fix for broken scroll wheel DIY

I actually superglued the pin to the censor chamber and got it 100% functional, but if you mess up on the glue inside the censor you will lock your scroll forever. Imagine you're tightening a screw with a screwdriver that got a broken tip. It will just spin around forever without moving the screw at all. It's the same way with this scroll pin, it has become more rounded and the edges doesnt grip anymore, But if you take the pin out and add a drop of superglue on the tip, then carefully take it into the chamber, it will forever attatch.

It worked, I pulled out a bit of this left stick and then I applied super glue on the edge. Thanks a lot bro!

Thanks a lot. My problem was that the shaft was worn off. The video works really well as a guideline. When fixing it just make sure you superglue the white shaft to the inside of the hexagon but not to the outer rim. Use just a little bit of glue, one extra drop and the sensor won't spin.

I honestly just pulled on the wheel and shook it to the left and right and it fixed my problem lol. Didn't have to take it apart or void the warranty. So far so good. Also a good practice would be to use compressed air and clean in between the crevices once a week. I started doing this once I fixed the issue.

While not including thee opening of your mouse, this video was excellent! You're description would have been awesome for the video. Very helpful for myself. (It's not bad enough to open, but understanding "move it to the right" it has worked for me since.... Just gotta move it to the right sometimes.)

i had this problem, and i just blew into the area of the mouse where the scroll wheel is. Fixed it for me. There was prob just dust or debris in it.

I need to see how to take that whole assembly apart. I have a steelseries mouse with the same configuration. I think I have a small piece of lint or a hair stuck inside the sensor. I am confident that I could fix the problem but I am unsure how to dismantle without damage.

Razer Quality is pretty poor, On third and last Naga, My 4th Death Adder just stopped working. Switched to Corsair, Ordering Corsair MMO Mouse as well. NAGA is only 3 months old and having same ridiculous scroll issues.

i'm on my 4th naga at this point, middle mouse is ALWAYS the first to go, then the mouse buttons. i want something else at this point but i keep getting warranty replacements for no charge. i originally had the first nage which had essentially double the buttons due to a switch on the bottom that altered the side button functionality, they removed that in the new one which i got.

My Razer Naga's wheel click requires a lot of pressure to be able to click and I have to spin it a while to get it to click semi-decently. Really frustrating and can't do my stuff.

+Lincoln Haugen Yeah I have the exact same problem as the guy before me, it really takes a hard press to get it to click, and is very frustrating in games trying to click it without scrolling the wheel. Any ideas on how I could fix this? Don't want to buy a new Razer Naga 2014 because I prefer the 2012 one i'm using now.

2011 edition of Razer Naga, I managed to fix it for a few days by vacuuming around the vheel but it's still got stuck after a while. Seems to have gotten better for the last few days by pushing hard on the wheel and then scrolling it around I guess stuff inside just squeezes out or something.

Well, I took a vacuum cleaner (did not open the mouse, might have trouble assembling it back or mouse not working after reassembly) and vacuumed that bad boy up. Started working but still gave me trouble, clicking the mouse wheel with increased pressure and continuously rolling it while holding the pressure seemed to have fixed it and got the dirt out that was causing it most likely.

I planned on buying/snipping a couple used ones on eBay, to cannibalize for parts if something goes wrong. +DABIXX If you check up the TTC encoder that Razer uses, you will get an understanding on how it looks outside the mouse. What you choose as material for bridging the axle back to its sensor is up to you, as long its aligned 90 degrees from the wheel and into the TTC encoder.

Yes, go to ebay and search for " Pulley / scroll wheel *brand of your naga* and if you're first going through the process to actually order, wait and replace the entire scroll wheel, I would suggest you also change the encoder. Just the be 100% sure that it will be just like if it were brand new. The encoder is quite cheap aswell, but this is just my assumption and I'm only talking based on common sense and not experience or anything, good luck.
