Ya it's great you will learn to pick the phone up with your phone on the power button and it unlocks instantly. Would much rather have this then an in screen sensor. Wish more companies would do this like Samsung and their fingerprint scanner placement

Damn, aside from the lack of a headphone jack this phone is as good as you can possibly get, the move to a higher framerate display is fantastic, the price is fantastic considering they are going above and beyond, since it is way cheaper than the Pixel 2 XL, Note 8 or LG V30 while offering a set of features not found elsewhere

I bought a GIGABYTE AERO 15X as my daily laptop. Casual gamer here. But I wanted a laptop with really good performance that wasn't blasted with red dragons and would look good in a business meeting. THIS PHONE IS EXACTLY THAT. Stealthy Beast. Even if you never use it for gaming, it's a clean stock android phone with beast specs for us power users out there. It's amazing that we need to go "gamer-y" just to get above average performance from our tech these days. Hats off to razer for making this phone.

I just don't get this whole thing at all. If you'll spend 700 bucks on a phone, why not buy a pair of $150 Bluetooth buds. Try the jaybird x3's for $120 on amazon right now. I had the x2's for a couple years until I lost them and they were awesome, once you go wireless you'll be wondering why on earth anyone would want a wire between their face and their phone. The only thing I am disappointed with is no wireless charging.

8GB of RAM don't mean a lot of shit. I have the OnePlus 5 (SD835/ 8GB RAM) and Xiaomi Mi note 2 (SD821 / 6GB RAM). Both run smoothly with same apps installed.

TheDark Knut it's not as if those bezels aren't serving any purpose, the front facing speakers is a major selling point to the phone and is far better for gaming, listening to music in the shower, watching movies etc then let's say a phone with awfully slim bezels and one lousy mono speaker at the bottom that's easily muffled up. If I would have known about this razor phone I would have strongly considered it (if it's available in the U.S) before getting my pixel 2 XL which I'm also satisfied with btw.

I honestly can't say I agree with any of the negatives. More flair? this is a phone you'll carry everywhere, one that'll be expensive to upgrade so you're probably stuck with it. I don't think it should be too bold a statement. to me this phone looks amazing, only drawback is that I'd prefer better screen real estate and OLED. But goddamn, I love that complete rectangular design, it's what sony did right when they tried to do smartphones.

Pleasantly surprised with this phone. Other than the headphone jack non-existence it sounds like a very good phone, and even the no headphone jack issue I think is alleviated a bit with the fast charging capabilities and included dongle. Hopefully the speaker test will prove that it really is decently loud and hopefully the camera turns out decent. If so then it might just be my next phone.

It might not all things considered. People are still willing to buy phones with no headphone jack. They have a fingerprint scanner. Through my screen at least that front panel does look good as far as colors anyway. I don't care about bezels if they are housing good speakers. I'm still a fan of front speakers. Expandable storage is good even though you only get 64 gigs. Wireless charging is borderline useless. The struggle is going to be convincing anyone its worth 700 dollars. And build quality will be called into question. Otherwise the matte black look is pretty nice. I don't care about having a glass back on my phone. The hipster crowd will like that it isn't samsung, apple, or google.

The surface area of this phone's screen is larger than the one on the S8+. It is not smaller than other big phones. Just shorter, but wider. In the end it's still larger in surface area. Otherwise great video as always Michael.

Something I would like to add, this dongle ensures music playback at 24-bit. So perhaps Razer was thinking about improving the audio quality but they weren't able to do it the same way HTC did it with the HTC 10 and onwards, by adopting a standalone DAC other than that of the Snapdragon SoC. Just my 2 cents.

It has about everything (more than a light of competitors), a great design (the Robin was a looker and this is a sleek version of it), the only issue really is the USB-C adapter for audio, but it combats that with a USB-C headphone jack included that has a 24-bit DAC inside, and a 4000mAh battery (including Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0), and the power-efficient Snapdragon 835 processor (my HTC U11 gets 6-7 hours SOT w/ it), and it's under-priced the competition $699 > $800-$1000. It's a worthy buy.

I'm no gamer by any means, but those specs are quite impressive. I'd honestly sooner get this phone over the Pixel 2 XL. And I'm actually excited over the HTC U11+ announcement tomorrow. But this phone right here is definitely intriguing.

Using "Nova Prime" as their stock launcher is genius! That is what android is all about giving the people the freedom to customize their android phones. Hope every manufacturers should start doing that!

What a wonderful industrial design. Love it. A phone with an actually different design that stands out. A rare thing in 2017, when every flagship phone is a slippery piece of soap...I mean glass. The only thing I don´t like is the Razer logo. And its too bad they didn´t build in a headphone jack.
