Did it outta curiosity - because despite what ppl say in overwatch this thing is kinda useless since even hitscan hitboxes are pretty big and most of projectiles are like half of the screen.

I am not really an overwatch player but that's true! Lowkey snap tap's not really something to be too considered cheating (esp 90% of the gamers have the muscle memory for a/d even on cs2

Sadly I am not super knowledgeable with Linux (Ubuntu) although with my rough/quick research I have found that there is an alternative to ahk for Linux and they were able to edit this exact SOCD (snaptap) script to work on that. I've never tried rapid trigger but looking forward to getting a keyboard with it soon. But honestly, this whole thing does not really make you any better at all. Sure it may be responsive, but if you're already high rank with normal setup then it does not really add much value.

hey man this has been working perfectly except for one little thing. Sometimes one of my directional keys (WASD) gets pushed permanently and im stuck walking in this direction. i know i can simply reload the script, but when this happened 3 times in 10 minutes it was a little hard to run to safety and tab out to reload the script. Any fixes? or shortcuts? thank you anyways, this is way better than before.

You should defo give it a try! Really depends on your game. Personally I do not use it due to me developing a much more accurate movement without it.

Personally I came back to without it, my muscle memory already is used without snap keys. So I am more consistent that way.

This particular script does w-s a-d, I assume you can edit out the script by right clicking the .ahk and editing it through notepad++ or notepad. That is if you can code.. You can give chatgpt a shot by asking it to code you something similar for different set of keys.

Maybe I'll try and get this going. I would have to change the script to work for arrow keys though. I already found the codes. FYI, I've used autohotkey for years and never got banned for anything. I use it because I'm an old-school gamer who still uses the arrow keys instead of WASD and a lot of games have keys hardcoded, so a lot of the keys on the right side of the keyboard don't work. Very few games don't like autohotkey. Some will work if you instead run the script as an .exe file.

I did a quick research, you should be able to open up the game but you have to exit out the .ahk. Sadly The Finals actually blacklisted any ahk running, the game won't launch with it.

So far with my 3 days of testing, Apex Legends, Valo & CS2. Everything’s still working fine no bans (yet). It is unknown if it’s actually ban-able since the game isn’t directly manipulated unlike .ahk pixel triggerbot scripts. I guess be cautious with using it + if you’re like me I still am more comfortable without it since I feel like it’s messing with my timing since I have my counter-strafe timing down.

You won’t get banned, most AC’s will find it to be too much work to add detection for the minuscule benefit you could get in a small sample of scenarios
