review of razers glass mouse skates included with the viper mini signature edition. Not sure how they will hold up to months of use but they still have OOTB speed after almost 2 weeks, would be cool for razer to make them for other models

Victus is more shatter resistant. Shatter resistant usually means softer glass, more prone to scratches, but less likely to shatter. More scratch resistant means harder glass. Less prone to scratches, but more likely to shatter due to being more hard and brittle.

Razers stock feet for the viper pro v2 are insanely fast on my hien mid compared to my superlight, so those must feel like you’re gliding on air lol. Shame that the new mini SE’s are so expensive, I’d love to try it out but just can’t justify it with the mice I already own.

Doesn't it make clicking and browsing harder? Ive tried it and every time I click, the mouse pointer also moves due to the slippery glass skates. It registers my click as a drag rather a click making me having to click at least two times.

Razer use gorilla glass 3 because they're the best scratch resistant while newer ones are better at breaking resistant because your skates will more likely scratch rather then be dropped and break

Got the mouse yesterday with flawless QC, it’s perfect. I think glass skates are crap but was curious about the ones that came with it to see if they are somewhat different so I’m glad I watched the video and will just stick with the PTFE feet which are some of the best out of the box I’ve ever tried if not the best. Played Quake Champions and then some DMZ to test the mouse yesterday and it was phenomenal.

I’ve been collecting and testing mice since the 90’s and I don’t even think I’ve had a mouse this perfect in QC but I got lucky because on Reddit I see some bad QC here and their. I think they should ship units to the USA and have an inspector here go through them with no music playing or being in a loud factory. A lot of company’s will have inspectors here before the product goes out but in this case it was shipped direct from the supplier who probably doesn’t look at any of them at all.

I play games for 4-6ish hours a day when I can, and most games I play support 4K Hz polling rate so I use it constantly but I have my profile auto-switch to 1k when I'm on desktop doing regular stuff. I topped it up to 100% on Monday at 4pm when I got the mouse, and so far it's thursday 5pm and the battery as of right now is 54%. The battery is the same as the Viper Ultimate and GPX Superlight, 500mAh, compared to the Viper V2 Pro's 200mAh. Edit: they advertised 60h battery life but going by what I've experienced, it's 60 hours at 4k polling rate which is insanely good.
