Did the same thing to my standard cart. Standard controller and motor. Wow what a difference. Used cheap ebay 9ah batteries and charger so cost was not much. Top speed went from 17kph to 25 with heaps more torque and real good range without loosing power. Have a 48v lithium and 900w currie motor coming excited to see what that brings.

Hi Jordy, thanks for your videos! I'm hoping you can help me. I have an 18v and 54v DeWalt battery that I'd like to hook up to my stock Crazy Cart. My main goal is to increase battery life and not have to upgrade anything else e.g. the controller. Is it possible for me to use one or a combination of them with my Crazy Cart as is? Thanks! ☺

Can you link the 54v battery? I’ve never seen it. I don’t think either of those alone would work without upgrading either for the 54v or getting a second 18v

Will this work on a standard size cart if controller is 36v but stock motor

I’ve heard it works but there’s a chance of burning up controller so just pay attention & be cautious!

Hi, I’ve got a crazy cart shift and I’ve tried straight swapping one of my 18v 5ah batteries into it. The power switch lights up but it just makes a clicking sound when I press the throttle. Any idea if I have a wiring problem or is it something else? Do I need to run 2 batteries in it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dan

Just clicking usually means dead battery. I’d double check you have everything hooked up properly but may need a new motor

shift is 24v not 18v
