I have a wolf cut but the layers aren’t looking “natural” and as connected as with this technique, I’ll try this one out it’s looking great especially since it still looks good air dried and natural curls/waves like that

I think they said in another video where they were advertising shears for slide cutting that you can slice the cuticle right off some of the hair if theyre too sharp, so does a razor do the same thing I wonder.

Great insight Faye! When using a razor you need to keep in mind the hair texture you’re working on and my #1 rule is brand new blade for every client. 🥳 dull blades = damaged cuticle. Sometimes I even use more than one blade on a guest if I feel the razor is getting dull.
