Razor Dirt Quad - How to adjust the BRAKE

We just changed the brakes on our 2 quads. Now, both of them will go a few feet at full charge and the brakes will lock up. Can you help me with this?

have you tried it in snow yet? do you think it can ride up longer short steep hills?

It's fun in the snow, but can't handle more than a couple inches. The tire treads fill and just spin. My son rides it up grassy hills but nothing steep enough to flip him off the back.

I think we need new pads. I can tighten ours down all the way and it won't stop.

same problem with ours and its brand new. Already tightened the cable as much as it has within its limits. Going to try and add shims or something next.
